Association of Marina IndustriesAMI is a non-profit membership organisation which offers management training, education and information about research, legislation and environmental issues affecting the marina industry. AMI is a marine trade organization which encompasses all segments of the marina industry both within the United States and around the world.
Journal of Urban Regeneration and Renewal
Journal of Urban Regeneration and Renewal is the professional journal for all those directly concerned with regeneration and renewal in towns and cities. The scope encompasses physical regeneration, economic development and community renewal. The audience for the Journal is those responsible for, or with an interest in, the management of the urban regeneration process, including policy making, planning, consultation, delivery and long-term management of developments and programmes.
The Royal Incorporation of Scottish Architects
The RIAS was founded in 1916 as the professional body for all chartered architects in Scotland and is the foremost architectural professional institute in the country dealing with architecture and the built environment.
The Royal Institute of British Architects, one of the most influential architectural institutions in the world, has been promoting architecture and architects since being awarded its Royal Charter in 1837. The RIBA's remit then was 'the general advancement of architecture'. The RIBA has supported WaterfrontExpo since its inception.
The International Centre Cities on Water is a non-profit Association set up in Venice in 1989, with the aim of developing Activities connected to the water-city relationship. The Centre also puts out a series of publications including the quarterly review Aquapolis, in English and Italian, and the monthly newsletter, Città d'Acqua News. The Centre is a promoter of Rete 2001, a program of co-operation between ports and cities in Mediterranean European and Latin America, and which publishes the six-monthly review Portus.
The International Association Cities and Ports
The International Association Cities and Ports was created in Le Havre in 1988 on the initiative of cities, ports and their institutional and economic partners to create a permanent structure for the exchange of information and contacts in order to follow projects through in the best possible conditions. The IACP is an international network of decision makers and technicians in the development of ports which has the official status of an international association governed by French law.
