New innovations for 2008

Based on the feedback we have from received from past delegates to WaterfrontExpo, the 2008 event will see the debut of a number of major innovations. These have been specifically designed to enable you to make the most of your visit to WaterfrontExpo 2008, and to maximise the time you spend with existing and potential clients.

The key innovations are the introduction of discussion groups, and the adoption of tried and tested, easy to use technology to facilitate more effective networking:

Discussion groups

Exhibitors will have FREE OF CHARGE additional space to host up to four hours of networking discussions and seminars – and provide lunch and refreshments – on their stands!

Just think what this makes possible:
  • For exhibitors it means they can facilitate discussions where they can share their knowledge and expertise in a less formal environment
  • For delegates it means a great opportunity to ask the experts questions and then have their say about specific issues of direct relevance to their business

Networking technology

To facilitate successful networking, delegates and exhibitors will have access to Waterfront Connect© - a set of simple and straightforward communications tools.

The use of this technology will:
  • Enable you to fix up meetings with fellow delegates ahead of the event using our website
  • Enable you to easily locate fellow delegates at the event, to arrange new meetings, or reschedule existing ones
  • Enable exhibitors to publicise their programme of discussion groups and seminars ahead of the event on our website
  • Enable delegates to book into these discussion groups in advance if they wish
As the event draws close we will be producing guidelines to help make sure you get the most out of these innovations. These will include guidelines for exhibitors on the format of presentations likely to appeal to delegates.
